Stranville Living Master Builder, an esteemed home builder in Lethbridge, has gained recognition for their exceptional craftsmanship and has successfully delivered over 350 high-calibre homes within their southern Alberta community. Despite their impressive track record, their online presence had been a continuous struggle. Over the course of a decade, they had witnessed various iterations of their website, none of which could effectively maintain a polished and professional design.
Realizing the urgent need for a website overhaul, Stranville Living embarked on a search for the right agency to address their challenges. Initially exploring local options, they found it difficult to discover an agency that could meet their requirements. After considering one local agency but ultimately deciding to hold off, they received a referral from one of our recent website clients, leading them to Key Creative.
When Stranville Living approached us, they were pleasantly surprised to learn that we weren’t a web agency burdened with high overhead costs but rather a small, one-woman-run business. This alignment with their needs proved to be precisely what they were looking for. They were particularly drawn to our reputation for an easy, streamlined process and clear communication. We were delighted to find that Stranville Living recognized the need for improvements on their website. After discussing their goals and aspirations, we eagerly accepted the opportunity to design and develop their website over the course of the next two and a half months.
Together, we outlined the sitemap, consisting of 11 essential pages. This included a blog and two filterable results pages. In addition to those primary pages, we accounted for 5 blog posts, 25 home listings, and 27 home models. This meant organizing, designing, writing, and developing over 65 unique URLs—a task that would make it the largest website project in Key Creative’s portfolio to date. This information guided us in finalizing our page titles that were optimized for search engines. This allowed us to create a staging site, a separate environment where we could construct the new website while keeping their previous site live and fully functional. This approach ensured that their online presence remained uninterrupted during the development phase.

An integral aspect of the development process revolved around enhancing the search and filter functionalities on the Homes for Sale and Home Models pages. Previously, Stranville Living’s under-construction and move-in-ready homes were scattered across multiple pages, merely listed without any organized structure. This approach made it challenging for users to find houses in specific communities or with desired specifications. Given that Stranville Living, a well-known Master Builder, consistently maintains an inventory of over 20 houses ready to sell, it became necessary to transform their website into a comprehensive realty search engine.

Our goal was to empower potential homebuyers to easily explore and locate their dream homes within Stranville Living’s extensive inventory.
